Pottery Wheel Class. Beginners welcome!

*Price is $50 per person ($7 studio fee upon returning to paint the piece)

You get under 2lbs of clay for the pottery wheel to create your main vessel. Plus 0.07lbs for hand-building to decorate, add a handle, etc., or create a second piece.

HOW IT WORKS

Session 1: You throw a circular item (cup, bowl, vase, etc.) then decorate, hand-build, and add to your project, which can take 2-3 HOURS.

Session 2: return 4 weeks later to find your items, sand, paint, and glaze them (this can also take 2-3 hours). Leave them one last time to get fired again, pick up around 12 days after.

The clay needs to dry slowly to be able to go inside a kiln! All tools and materials are included in this price. 

Only in for the night? Still wanna get dirty? Call and reserve for our tourist package. $60.00 per person to paint one ceramic piece with acrylic (up to $15 value and to take home same day) and throw on the wheel. Items made on the wheel are in a "make and break" fashion.
